Common questions
What type of source video works best?
Use a clip with a clearly visible subject, stable lighting and useful contrast between the subject and the original environment. Heavy motion blur and extreme compression can make edges less consistent.
Do I need a green screen?
No. The tool is designed to separate the foreground subject from ordinary recorded backgrounds, so a green screen is not required.
Can I upload a replacement background asset?
Yes. Add an optional image or video background file. If no asset is uploaded, choose transparency, a supported solid-color mode, or another available output option.
What does the Model option do?
The model selector lets the page use an enabled video-processing model returned by Tool67. Auto is retained as a safe fallback when no specific model is required.
Which output type should I choose?
Composite MP4 is the simplest finished-video option. Green Screen MP4 is useful for later keying. Transparent Video requires a codec and player that support alpha transparency.
Why can transparent output look black?
Some browsers and video players do not display alpha channels correctly. In those players, transparent pixels may appear black even if the exported file contains transparency.
How many credits does processing use?
The page currently shows a default processing charge of 20 credits before generation. Your remaining balance is shown under the Generate button when you are signed in.
Does the result appear on this page?
Yes. The result area is hidden initially. After you click Generate it opens below the workspace with a dark loading overlay and timer, then switches to the finished video with a download button.
What can cause rough edges or flicker?
Flying hair, transparent objects, reflections, shadows, overlapping people, fast movement and low-quality source footage are the most common causes of unstable edges.
Can I download the finished video immediately?
Yes. When processing completes, the download arrow appears in the lower-right corner of the result video.
