Restore blurry and low-quality faces online
Tool67 Face Restore improves visible facial details in portraits, old family photos, compressed screenshots and AI-generated images. It focuses on detected faces while keeping the overall image composition intact.
When is face restoration useful?
- Portraits where eyes, lips or facial contours look soft
- Old family photos with small or low-resolution faces
- Group photos where people appear too small to see clearly
- Images damaged by compression, repeated saving or messaging apps
- AI-generated images with distorted or poorly rendered faces
Face restoration is not full photo restoration
This tool concentrates on faces. It does not remove scratches, repair torn areas, colorize black-and-white photos or rebuild missing backgrounds. Those broader tasks belong in a separate Old Photo Restoration tool.
What results should you expect?
Clearer input photos generally produce more faithful results. If the face is extremely small, heavily blurred or partly hidden, the restored details may be reconstructed rather than recovered exactly. For important historical or family photographs, compare the result carefully before using it as an archival replacement.
Does it restore every face in a group photo?
The tool attempts to detect and improve visible faces in the image. Tiny, sideways or heavily covered faces may not be detected reliably.
Does the output become larger?
This version preserves the original image dimensions and focuses on restoring facial detail.
Can it repair scratches and torn photographs?
No. It restores faces only. A separate Old Photo Restoration tool is better for scratches, stains, tears and missing areas.
