What kinds of old photos work best?
Clear portraits, wedding photos, family groups and vintage studio photographs usually work best when faces are visible and not heavily blurred or damaged.
How much motion should I use?
For archival portraits, Subtle is the safest starting point. It encourages blinking, breathing and small head or eye movement instead of dramatic action.
Will Tool67 preserve the face and clothing?
The default prompt explicitly asks the model to preserve identity, age, clothing, pose, composition and photographic character. Because the result is AI-generated, perfect preservation cannot be guaranteed.
Can I use more than one photo?
Yes. You can upload up to three references. Use the clearest original as IMAGE 1; extra images can help with identity or context.
How are credits calculated?
The page loads the available video models and shows the current generation cost based on the selected model and duration before you generate.
Where will my generated video appear?
The result area is hidden by default. After you start generation, it appears directly below the workspace with a dark progress overlay, timer and final download button.
What aspect ratio should I choose?
4:5 is a good default for portrait-oriented old photographs. Use 1:1 for square portraits, 9:16 for vertical social video, or 16:9 for landscape memories.
